Hundreds of kilometres of remote, reception-free highway passed safely by — and then, the very moment the car reached a campground with help nearby, the battery finally died. This short but striking miracle story shows perfect timing hiding in an otherwise ordinary road trip.
While travelling the Great Ocean Road for their first wedding anniversary, Daniel and Kaysie Vokurka spent days driving through remote stretches with no phone reception and long, flat roads far from any town. It wasn't until they safely reached their destination campground that their car's battery completely failed, conveniently located near people who could help and, even more remarkably, right along the route to a battery replacement shop. Reflecting on how many opportunities that battery had to fail during their long, isolated drive, the couple credits God's quiet protection for timing the failure exactly when it was safe.
